چکیده

The shape of the rice flag leaf affects yield. Therefore, detection quantitative trait loci (QTLs) and alleles related to is great significance for yield improvement. in 2019 2020, we carried out a genome-wide association study length (FLL), width (FLW), length–width ratio (FLR), area (FLA), considering 1.3 million single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) 173 accessions, order investigate effects various genes on shape. An abundance phenotypic variation was found, with respect four parameters these accessions. We identified one significant SNP position associated FLL FLR chromosome 5 FLW 2, which were detected both two years period through general linear model (GLM) mixed (MLM). Furthermore, three candidate genes—LOC_Os02g56760, LOC_Os05g34380, LOC_Os05g34600—were found possibly be significantly rice. Haplotype analysis indicated that LOC_Os05g34380 highly ratio, LOC_Os05g34600 length, LOC_Os02g56760 width. Our results provide important genetic information molecular improvement shape, laying foundation further cloning molecular-assisted breeding genes.

Genome-wide association study of rice (Oryza sativa L.) leaf traits with a high-throughput leaf scorer

Leaves are the plant's solar panel and food factory, and leaf traits are always key issues to investigate in plant research. Traditional methods for leaf trait measurement are time-consuming. In this work, an engineering prototype has been established for high-throughput leaf scoring (HLS) of a large number of Oryza sativa accessions. The mean absolute per cent of errors in traditional measurem...

Genetic dissection of ozone tolerance in rice (Oryza sativa L.) by a genome-wide association study

Tropospheric ozone causes various negative effects on plants and affects the yield and quality of agricultural crops. Here, we report a genome-wide association study (GWAS) in rice (Oryza sativa L.) to determine candidate loci associated with ozone tolerance. A diversity panel consisting of 328 accessions representing all subgroups of O. sativa was exposed to ozone stress at 60 nl l(-1) for 7h ...

Biallelic and Genome Wide Association Mapping of Germanium Tolerant Loci in Rice (Oryza sativa L.)

Rice plants accumulate high concentrations of silicon. Silicon has been shown to be involved in plant growth, high yield, and mitigating biotic and abiotic stresses. However, it has been demonstrated that inorganic arsenic is taken up by rice through silicon transporters under anaerobic conditions, thus the ability to efficiently take up silicon may be considered either a positive or a negative...

Unveiling the genetic loci for a panicle developmental trait using genome-wide association study in rice

Panicle size has a high correlation with grain yield in rice. There is a bottleneck to identify the additional quantitative trait loci (QTL) for panicle size due to the conventional traits used for QTL mapping. To identify more genetic loci for panicle size, a panicle developmental trait (LNTB, the length from panicle neck-knot to the first primary branch in the rachis) related to panicle size ...
